I was talking with my Uncle last night about blues musicians and he told me that the way you pick your blues name is you 1) pick an affliction 2) pick a fruit and 3) pick a dead president.
My favorite real example: Blind Lemon Jefferson.
After playing around with it, if I had a blues name it would be Deaf Apple Roosevelt.
